1、 Why do industrial robots require regular maintenance?
In the era of 0, the proportion of industrial robots used in more and more industries continues to increase. However, due to their long-term operation under relatively harsh conditions, equipment failures often occur. As a mechanical device, no matter how constant temperature and humidity the robot operates, it will inevitably wear and tear. If daily maintenance is not carried out, many precision structures inside the robot will experience irreversible wear and tear, and the service life of the machine will be greatly shortened. If necessary maintenance is lacking for a long time, it will not only shorten the service life of industrial robots, but also affect production safety and product quality. Therefore, strictly following correct and professional maintenance methods can not only effectively extend the service life of the machine, but also reduce its lifespan and ensure the safety of equipment and operators.
2、 How should industrial robots be maintained?
The daily maintenance of industrial robots plays an irreplaceable role in extending the lifespan of robots, so how to carry out efficient and professional maintenance?
The maintenance and inspection of robots mainly includes daily inspections, monthly inspections, quarterly inspections, annual maintenance, regular maintenance (50000 hours, 10000 hours, 15000 hours), and major repairs, covering nearly 10 main projects.
In daily inspections, the main focus is to conduct detailed inspections of the robot body and electrical cabinet to ensure smooth operation of the robot.
In regular inspections, it is important to replace the grease, and what is important is to inspect the gears and reducers.
1. Gear
Specific operating steps:
When replenishing or replacing grease, please supplement according to the specified amount.
2. Please use a manual oil gun to replenish or replace the grease.
3. If you need to use an air pump oil gun, please use the ZM-45 air pump oil gun (produced by Zhengmao Company, with a pressure ratio of 50:1). When using, please use a regulator to adjust the air supply pressure to less than 0.26MPa (2.5kgf/cm2).
4. During the oil replenishment process, do not directly connect the grease discharge pipe to the outlet. Due to the filling pressure, if the oil cannot be discharged smoothly, the internal pressure will increase, causing seal damage or oil backflow, leading to oil leakage.
5. Before oil replenishing, precautions shall be implemented in accordance with the new Safety data sheet (MSDS) of grease materials.
When replenishing or replacing grease, please prepare a container and a cloth in advance to handle the grease flowing from the injection and discharge ports.
The oil used belongs to the Industrial Waste Treatment and Cleaning Act (commonly known as the Waste Treatment and Cleaning Act). Therefore, please handle it correctly according to local regulations
Note: When loading and unloading plugs, use the following size hexagonal wrench or torque wrench attached to the hexagonal rod.
2. Reducer
Specific operating steps:
1. Move the robot to zero the arm and turn off the power.
2. Unscrew the plug on the oil outlet.
3. Screw out the plug on the injection port and then screw in the oil nozzle.
4. Add new oil from the injection port until the old oil is completely discharged from the drain port. (Judging old oil and new oil based on color)
5. Screw out the oil nozzle on the oil injection port, wipe off the grease around the oil injection port with a cloth, wrap the plug around 3 and a half turns with a sealing tape, and screw it into the oil injection port. (R1/4 tightening torque: 6.9N · m)
Before installing the oil outlet plug, rotate the J1 axis of the oil outlet plug for a few minutes to allow excess oil to drain from the oil outlet.
7. Use a cloth to wipe off the grease around the oil outlet, wrap the plug around 3 and a half turns with sealing tape, and then screw it into the oil outlet. (R1/4 tightening torque: 6.9N · m)
Due to different robot models, the amount of oil replenished varies. The following are the oil quantities and brands that need to be replenished/replaced for three types of robots
